Sleep Inn & Suites And Conference Center Downtown

It's located 10-15 minutes from downtown, in what can best be described as an industrial area. When you first pull up and see the outside, you might panic, as the neighborhood is sketchy and there are homeless people camped out. But it gets better. The lobby is clean and well lit. The room was clean and I slept great. The continental breakfast is very nice. The parking lot is well lit.

The experience at this hotel was horrific. We were there from 8/9 - 8/12/23. The floor in our restroom was coming up. Someone tried to glue the ceramic tile down with hot glue. The mirror was broken. The tall lamp had the electrical prong bent so it was unusable. There was a 2 day wedding in the conference room during our stay and there were so many people that paying customers had no ability to park in the parking lot. The cars were a fire hazard the way they were allowed to be parked in the lot. The fire alarm went off at 4am Saturday morning and it was turned off about a minute later but it was a heck of a way to start a morning. The wedding party had a room next door to mine and someone within that room began arguing and yelling at each other at 7:30am on Saturday. The hotel had very heightened odor of sewage in hallways by the elevator in the evenings. Someone tried to open the door to my room around 4pm Saturday afternoon. The plate in the microwave did not fit the microwave so upon using the microwave it would make a banging noise - until I figured out it was the plate. Upon finally being fed up and deciding to check out early I asked the receptionist for a receipt. She said she was unable to provide one but she would email it to me, she had me write my email address on a paper and she said she would personally send the receipt to me. I never received the receipt / email. This was a HORRIBLE experience and I would not recommend for anyone to stay at this facility.
